The Power of Generation Y
Jerry Clark

The youth have always been a part of our Industry… However, in the 21st Century, they are joining Network Marketing by leaps and bounds. For those savvy Network Marketers who understand the power of Demographic Trends, you will surely position yourself to capitalize off the Power of Generation Y.

Here are some of the Reasons I believe that our Industry is attracting such an abundance of Youth:

They are more Aware: Yes, I believe that the youth today are more aware of the results that the traditional recipe is producing.

You know the Traditional Recipe - Go to School, get a good education, then go to more school (college) and get even more education, then get a good job, work hard, be loyal and industrious and committed to your job, and eventually you will be set up to assure that your golden (age 65 and after) years will be filled with great Prosperity. The Youth today are more aware than ever of how flawed this recipe is. They can see it manifested in the results that their parents are producing. They are beginning to seriously question the “System”.

They are Hungry: More and more of our Youth today are seeking alternatives to the flawed “System” that they are recognizing.

I’m even seeing it in my own 19 year old Son - Christopher. Christopher is attending U.C. Santa Barbara - probably one of the top 5 Campuses (in terms of location) in the World. He has called me on several occasions with one simple question: “Dad, why am I in College again?” He has mentioned that he doesn’t feel that he will be using a College Degree to go out and get a J.O.B. because he’s Hungry to create something now. Thus, he decided to get started in Network Marketing and aggressively study Internet Marketing in an effort to create results now. (Interesting to note that I got started in Network Marketing when I was 19 years old as well). He’s Hungry, and there are a lot of other Teenagers and those in their early 20’s who are as well.

They are Entrepreneurial: Wow, I cannot begin to tell you of the number of young people that I’m now meeting who have a completely different mindset than the children who I was surrounded with when I was a Teenager and in my Early 20’s.

They are not thinking Jobs. They are thinking Businesses. And many of them are not even Teenagers yet. Case in Point: I recently interviewed an 11 year old Girl named A’Miracle as part of my CD of the Month program that I have available at ClubRhino.com (yes, A’Miracle is her real Birth name). The words that were coming out of this young Girls’ mouth in regards to Business were amazing. If I wasn’t sitting right there interviewing her myself, I probably wouldn’t have believed that she was 11 years old. She started her first business when she was 9 years old and now at 11, has 3 Businesses. Here’s the interesting point… neither of her parents are entrepreneurs and all of her Businesses are Profitable. Her Story is Amazing. If you want listen to the Audio of my 75 Minute Interview with her, as a special bonus for being a part of The Network Marketing Magazine, I’ll let you listen to it yourself for FREE. Just go to www.clubrhino.com/amiracle and fill out the form and we will make sure you get a chance to benefit from her message. It will blow you away.

They are Dedicated: I must say that I am pleasantly surprised to see the increasing numbers of Youth who are dedicated to achieve their dreams, goals, and aspirations.

At the Seminars and Trainings that I conduct around the World, I constantly see increased numbers of Teenagers and people in their 20’s in attendance. One such person is Dakota Rea. He also has an amazing story. I remember first seeing him at one of my Seminars when he was 18 years old. I could tell that he was a dynamic individual, but I didn’t know his entire story. I had no idea of what he had been through in life. I didn’t know about the drugs, about the defiant behavior, about the inner feelings that he had which had him off track. After attending that Seminar, he started to show up at all of my Seminars over the next year. He even attended my Advanced $5,000 Rhino Mastermind Millionaire Intensive. Today, at the age of 19, his dedication has paid off. He has completely transformed his way of life. He was so excited about the way he was able to make quick shifts in his life that he decided to work with other Teenagers and those in their Early 20’s in order to assist them. His coaching and training business at DedicatedDakota.com is really taking off. Go there and listen to the testimonials yourself. Once again, I’m seeing this Dedication in more and more of our Youth. I’ve notice that it occurs when they have a dream and have a burning desire to see it to fruition.

These are just some of the reasons I believe that we deserve to put more attention in actually giving the Generation Y an opportunity to use Network Marketing as a Vehicle to catapult them into experiencing the life of their choice.

Not only are many of the Y Generation Aware, Hungry, Entrepreneurial, and Dedicated… But many of them are also Vibrant, Focused, Resilient, and Teachable - the exact qualities necessary to create massive Momentum in your Organization.

Go, Go, Go!!!

Day 5 already?! Yeah. Jason and I have been very busy moving our things, mapping our trip, buying stuff/clothes/food we need for the trip, saying bye to families & friends, etc… while still expanding our business at the same time. phew! Next thing we know, it’s already day 5 of our trip!

We stayed at Jason’s parents for 2 nights (now that’s ‘free’ camping!) Had dinner with them on the second night at River Bar in Clive (elegant restaurant, cozy lounge, friendly waiters, really yummy food). We biked along Heretaunga St (New Zealand’s longest shopping street) and cooled off with some ice cream at Rush Munroe’s.

Last night was the first night we slept in the van. We were driving around trying to find a place to free camp. At about 9pm we found a public carpark next to a beach. We parked there to stay the night and the next morning… we were ‘wow-ed’ by the beach’s sparkling blue water and the snow top mountain view outside our window! So we decided to go out and chase some seagulls :D

WOW! This is so exciting !!! 7 days and off we go to see the beautiful NEW ZEALAND! I’ve been living here for over 6 years now and I have never set foot on the South Island… but in a week I will campervan, ski, shop, eat, drink, fly, cruise, swim, bungy jump, bike, tramp my way around the South Island :D

With just a little research, Jason and I have just found a way to get FREE INTERNET ACCESS at heaps of places all through New Zealand… saving us $500 for datacard + $50 a month. Maybe we ought to write a book to help other people do the same? Not a bad idea since we’ll be ‘owning’ our time once we leave.

5 Year Life Dreams Success Journal by Bo Sanchez. I’ve been waiting for this book since Bo announced it in KerygmaFamily, and this morning, the long-awaited book finally made it to my mailbox!

I quickly skimmed through it and one thing that I thought I could really relate to is his analogy of the 3 kinds of people in this world:

1. The Moviegoer - This person watches the movie of his live, admires some parts and criticizes the others. Aside from that he does nothing else. They feel they have no control over their lives -except to comment about it. Moviegoers are the most pathetic, miserable people in the world.

2. The Actor - This person doesn’t only watch. They realize they’re the star of the show and enjoy some level of control. But many times, they wish the movie would end in another way - but realize that they have no say in such things.

3. The Scriptwriter - This person doesn’t only watch or act. He creates the entire movie from her mind… what she will say, do, and how the movie will end. He realizes he has enormous control over his life, and sees to it that the movie of his life will turn out beautiful.

And this is the part that I like most about Bo’s analogy, something that fits perfectly in my being Godly and being rich belief…

By the way, you might be asking: where is God in the movie? He’s the Producer. He tells you, “Make the movie beautiful. Here’s the budget…” He then gives you a thick, fat check book with blank checks - but all are signed. “Just put whatever figure you need.” Yes, my friend, He has given you all that you need for success. Start using God’s check book now!

Isn’t awesome that YOU have all the resources that YOU need to be what you REALLY want to be and do what YOU want to do?

Think about it, are you a Moviegoer, an Actor, or a Scriptwriter?

How can you make your movie beautiful?

Till next time.

Our big road trip is coming fast!! It was Jason’s last day of work last Friday and tomorrow I’m going to hand in my letter of resignation too!! Had a big talk with my boss and his wife, they pretty much don’t wanna let me go… they asked me for a price so I’d stay with the company! They talked about their plans of expanding the company and me supervising our projects. Hmm.. let’s see… TOUR New Zealand for 99 days or deal with grumpy clients and work long hours?… Umm… that’s a tough one.

So anyway, it feels so weird to finally jump out of my comfort zone and do something not a lot of people get to do. Quiting my job for one. It’s not like I’ve done that before, I either get fired or get redundant. Handing my resignation will probably feel SO weird, I’d much rather not show up at work.

We’ll be putting the last payment for the campervan hire tomorrow. A grand total of $10,448.82 for 99-day hire! The campervan company wont allow us to do more than 100 days, so we’re now going for 99.

We’ve uploaded some videos of NZ towns and “what to do’s” while we’re out and about on our Permanent Vacation website. And we’ve been getting quite a good response from our ads on Sellmefree.

Right now, Jason and I are working day and night preparing for the big trip while still expanding our business. Oh and speaking of our business… it’s going crazy! It’s SOOO exciting! Thanks to Transfer Factor we can work long hours and not get sick especially during this winter season!

Anyway, make sure you check out our Permanent Vacation website.

Let’s cut to the chase…

Are you wanting to start property investing but don’t have big sum of money for deposit… or maybe you just don’t know where to start?

With the soaring prices of houses nowadays, it’s getting harder and harder for us younger people to buy our first home and/or rental property.

That’s why my business partner, who have been investing in properties for over 40 years, have decided to create a programme that will help Generation Y’s (people under 30’s) to get a head start in property investment. This will help you start investing RIGHT NOW! not next month, not next year… No DEPOSIT necessary… just weekly investments of $25 or $50 or $100 or $200 or how ever much you can afford really. PLUS, you get to save money on your taxes too!

But here’s the catch…

My business partner can only work with 20 people at a time. And to be quite honest, we are having A LOT of interests from young professionals like me and you, so I’m not sure when this offer will last… so you really have no time to waste!

If you’d like to know more email me at: jen@jenranada.com leave your name and phone number and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

My Semi-Vegetarianism

It’s been 2 weeks since I’ve decided to be a vegetarian and I’m loving what it’s doing to my body and my energy! It’s actually hard to be a vegetarian if you’re in a Filipino household, most of the food mum loves to cook are all meat… so now I have to prepare my own food. Amazingly enough, I have not been tempted to touch meat, last night we had a “steam boat” (or shabu-shabu) with some friends at my boyfriends flat, where they served my all-time favourite WONTON!! but I breezed thru it quite easily :)

Since I’ve been a vegetarian, I don’t get tired easily anymore, I’ve picked up my energy and I never feel bloated anymore:) Of course, I have monitor what I eat making sure I get enough protein and iron and all those stuff… That’s why I take my RITE START everyday to make sure that I get my daily intake of vitamins that I miss from not eating meat.

Three days ago, I nearly had a flu. But my immune system owned it and got rid of it almost overnight! While everyone else is getting sick especially this cold winter season (Not to mention the increasing number of young people developing diseases like diabetes, heart disease, etc.) … I feel healthy and strong :)

I’m more confident with my body, I’ve got lots of energy to burn on things I really enjoy like my expanding business, Singles For Christ, travelling, shopping all day with friends…
But most of all I love the feeling knowing that I am healthy because I CHOOSE TO BE. I take care of my body, I take time to rest, play and relax, I eat healthy food, I give my immune system the right support, and I have SELF-DISCIPLINE (oh! I love that word!)
